Wings of Caring Philosophy

As a Postpartum Doula, I believe that a healthy relationship between the mother and the father is the best gift parents can give their baby. It is a blessing and an honor to help nurture that relationship in any way I can.

Quotes
“With twins, it is extremely difficult to get a break, especially with a toddler in the house. Barbara provides a much-needed break – I don’t know how I would function otherwise.” Laura

What is a Postpartum Doula?

A Postpartum Doula (PPD) is a person who helps to nurture the “whole” family. A PPD doesn’t just focus on the mom, the baby, or the mom and baby. They focus on the family as a unit. The idea is to help the family be more confident in their parenting skills. This even includes working with any children or animals to help transition them into the new family unit. The key is to make sure everyone feels loved and secure enough in who they are that the baby is an added blessing.
